Today was our first family trip to the zoo. We thought it was time for Kate to see all the animals that she reads about in her books. It was a VERY hot day, but that didn't stop us from seeing all the animals 2 times. Since the first time around most of them were sleeping. Our first stop was the giraffes.
Next the elephants. She's pretending to be one with her trunk in the air!
Her favorite was the aquarium. Where she got face to face with the fish. Although she wasn't too happy when the fish that were bigger than her came swimming by!

He didn't move a muscle and yet she was facinated.
We had to stop by and see the farm animals. She was a little scared of the cow...not sure why?
Who had more fun, Kate or Laura?
We made sure to stop by the endangered animals carousel. Her first carousel ride ever!
We can't wait to go back, maybe next time we'll go when it's a little cooler and earlier in the morning when the animals aren't so lazy!!

I am freaking out over her curls!!! I cannot believe she has all those curls! I was so proud of Cayman's, like, 2 curls in the back of her head, but Kate definitely puts those 2 lonely little curls to shame! We are very much in admiration (and a little envy!)!
